No Sugar September
How's the sugar fast going? I am happy to say that I have done well! I feel it has really taken the stress off my digestion. I had to check in several times a day and care for myself during cravings. I had to stay present and mindful. Drinking extra water, making an herbal tea, or herbal latte helped a ton! I made sure to note when I ate a meal that made me feel like a sweet treat was needed afterward and identify what about that kind of meal may have had that effect. Too salty? Too fatty? Ate too fast? I also allowed myself to have a "better" treat, like baked apple with the granola topping or even pancakes with fruit once a week to feel like I was mindfully indulging.
